Share Your Impact with Volunteer Impact Pages!

Heads up! Are you looking for ways to highlight how your volunteers are making an impact in the community? You can with Volunteer Impact Pages (VIPs)! In this article, we cover: 


Sharing your volunteer impact

To create a Volunteer Impact Page (VIP), navigate to Content > Impact Pages

  • You can create VIPs that are public or internal! 
    • Internal VIPs are only shared with the volunteers registered on your site.
  • VIPs are great for highlighting:
    • Your top volunteers, hours, and Opportunity responses
    • How close you are to reaching your volunteer-impact goals, or if you've met and exceeded them
    • Videos, images, or spotlights
    • Links to other areas on the site or external pages
  • You can share your VIPs on: 
    • Social media
    • Email
    • In-app notifications
    • Your dashboard
      • e.g., image rotator, spotlights, etc.

How to create a VIP

Whether you're creating an internal or public VIP, the process is the same: 

1. Navigate to Content > Impact Pages. 

2. Select either Volunteer Impact Page (Public) or Volunteer Impact Page (Internal):


3. Start creating your page!

4. You can add rows to the bottom and top of the page by clicking Add Row to Top or Add Row to Bottom:  


5. You can add content to those rows by clicking Add Content to Row

  • There are several options you can choose from when adding content to a row:

  • You can add: 
    • Charts with current data from your site to highlight how your volunteers are smashing impact goals
    • Headers 
    • Recent blog posts
    • Recent photos from your image rotator
    • Section headers to offset the different sections of the page
    • Your spotlights
    • Your top volunteers
      • Volunteers with the most hours and responses
    • Videos


6. Once you've added all that you want on the page, click Preview Page to see how it looks on the front end: 


7. When you're ready, click Submit Page

8. Now, share your page link with your community! 

✏️ Quick tip: You can find the shareable links for your pages in the Manage Impacts area. 

1. Go to Content > Impact Pages

2. Click which impact page you need the link for (public vs. internal). 

3. Copy the link and share away!
