Please allow us to have no team leader. None of our teams really have "leaders." Someone from a business may be coordinating the day, but all of that coordination goes through me. I send out the link, but many folks struggle with adding themselves to a team (despite my instructions saying to scroll to the bottom to select "join team," rather than clicking the hyperlink within, "volunteer opportunity: Johnson Village Group Builds," they still click where they shouldn't and get confused.)
When folks have difficulty signing up, I add them on their behalf. When I do this, the system automatically makes the first person I sign the team leader. They are not the team leader. No one is. But the system won't let me move forward without selecting someone as leader.

Hi Miranda,
Thanks so much for clarifying that for me! I have added your suggestion to our enhancement notes so that our development team can consider it moving forward. We'll be glad to keep you updated if we hear any additional information about this suggestion being implemented onto the site.
Thanks again and have a great day!

Volunteers do not create teams within our organization. Only site managers do this, yet nearly ever time, a volunteer somehow ends up being designated as team leader. Then, once someone has mysteriously been designated as team leader, I do not have the ability to remove them as team leader without assigning someone else as leader.

Hi Miranda,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on our Forum! Before passing this along to our development team, I wanted to first share some information with you. While volunteers must designate a team leader when responding as a team, Site Managers are able to create a new team and team response without designating a team leader by going to the Volunteerism>Teams section and then clicking on "Add a Team". If you would like for volunteers to not have to designate a team leader when they are creating responses, please let me know here and I'll be glad to share that with our team.
Thank you!
