Hello, we have a program manager who submitted a request: she adds hours for many of our volunteers who are less tech-savvy through her manager view > Hours > Add Hours. When she is using the User Lookup feature, she has to type out the entirety of someone's name (such as "S-t-e-p-h-e-n") for it to start searching for a volunteer Stephen, rather than it beginning to search after typing a few letters (where "S-t-e" would start to show Stephen, Steven, Stephanie etc. in the system). The search automatically displaying results after a few letters would save her a lot of time. Thanks!

Hi Katie, Joan and Cody,
Thank you for adding your thoughts to this forum post! Currently, the code that looks people up in this form (ex. Add Hours) requires a minimum of 4 characters before it begins a search. This is to help make the queries more efficient. However, I completely understand the want to pull queries faster and with less characters. I've gone ahead and recorded this suggestion for future enhancements consideration.
I appreciate all of your suggestions!
Best,
Abby T.

I would love the ability to search by last name and first initial as well.
"Smith, R" would be really helpful way to search.

That would be a great feature! We have a number of tech averse volunteers as well, and that would be a big timesaver.
