I would like to be able to edit a recurrence instead of having to delete this entire assignment and start from scratch. It will be confusing to volunteers that have already signed up for their shifts to have them cancelled and then ask them to sign up again. Manually removing (even in bulk) old shifts is very time consuming and not efficient.

Hi Jaime,
When reviewing a shifted opportunity, there is an Edit Shifts tab at the top of the editing form. Within this area, you can bulk update various selected shifts. This is the best area to do this!
