We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
We would like to have a way to have a shift name or short answer description added to individual shifts. We would like to at times consolidate set up, clean up and various other shifts under one opportunity. Something that is not required, but can be used for complicated events without the need to have a multitude of sign ups. With a K-12 school, we have so many events, that a way to consolidate shifts for events, instead of using Clusters, which requires them to be seperate, would make for a more clan look on our site.

Hi Mona,
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your request here on our Suggestion Forum. As this is a request that we have received from other Site Managers in the past and I can see how this feature would be beneficial, I will attach your thoughts to our existing enhancement notes for our Development Team to review during one of our upcoming Product Enhancement meetings. I have also added Joan's support as well, in addition to the upvotes that were received from Miranda and Katie. We will be sure to provide updates with any new information we receive about this idea moving forward.
Thank you again and have a great day!
With gratitude,

This would be incredibly helpful! Now, I find myself making multiple opportunities, and/or lengthy explanations within the description - and it becomes very confusing for our volunteers.
