Hours Reports with with no/(null) initiative

Many of our volunteers record hours "individually", without associating with an opportunity (or initiative). When we are pulling year-to-date hours reports (typically through the Volunteer Hours Logged report), having (null) be an initiative option would be very helpful. 

At the moment we are having to export to excel and then do math/filtering to find the number of hours that have been recorded for the (null), Rock Star, and Ambassador initiatives.
