Add a New From Address as an Advanced Program Manager

Do you want volunteers to know the emails being sent from the site are coming from you? You can change the From email address to do this! This can be done from the Email Blast area of your dashboard. 

So you know: We recommend keeping the no-reply email since it usually gets through spam filters. 


How do I verify a new from email? 

To get started: 

1. Go to Communication > Email Blast

2. Select the Click To Verify A New From Address button. 

3. Type the email you want verified in the Email From Address Field

4. Click Submit

5. Check the email submitted to see if an email came through from Amazon Web Services (AWS). 

6. Click the link in the email to confirm the email address. 

  • The link expires after 24 hours. 
  • Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see an email from AWS. 
  • When you click the link, it takes you to an AWS confirmation page. 

So you know: A green check appears beside the added email once verified.
