The fastest route to seeing if your volunteers are active or not is through the User Filter! You can access this from the Users area of your dashboard. Here we cover:
ⓘ So you know: An active status means the volunteer has a registered account on your site. This doesn't necessarily mean they're actively responding to or viewing Opportunities on your site.
How to check a volunteer's status
To get started:
1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.
2. Click User Filter.
3. Select User Data > User Status.
4. Now you can either select is or is not and then the status you want to filter for—active, imported, inactive, or pending.
5. Click Submit when you're done selecting your filters.
6. Now you can review when the last time a volunteer's account was updated and the current status of their account.
ⓘ So you know: While this shows you their account status, it doesn't tell you when they last logged into their account.
How to see when a volunteer last logged in
To get started:
1. Go to Volunteerism > Users.
2. Click User Filter.
3. Select User Data > Date Last Logged In.
4. Now you can choose after, before, or on and a specific date they last logged into their account.
5. Click Submit when you're done selecting your filters.
6. Now you can review when the volunteer last logged in, when their account was created, and the current status of their account.
✏️ Quick tip: This is a great way to review a list of inactive volunteers that you may want to contact to try and boost engagement or consider deactivating.
